GPPRN — Global Partnership for Poverty Reduction in Nigeria

Nigeria’s poverty statistics remains unacceptably high in the face of growing GDP. It is on record that approximately 112 million Nigerians live below one American dollar a day, according to the National Bureau of Statistics, with the majority of the poor living in rural communities.

Every year, over 4 million youths graduate from higher institutions of learning into limited formal employment. Through the GPPRN framework, AIDE convenes consultative forums uniting policymakers, industry leaders, and grassroots stakeholders to foster systematic interventions.

AIDE inspires, trains, equips, and mentors small business owners with the skills, tools, and institutional linkages needed to build durable economic livelihoods and eradicate poverty.
